Main Menu
The menu items appear on the top of the Main Page. Some menu items may have multiple drop-down selections to choose from.

Legend
A legend is provided on the top of every page of the event scheduling software. It shows the types of events as color-coded, hyperlinked buttons that correspond to the time lines in the graphical Gantt chart display. Click any of these buttons to display the timeline on the Main Page for only the events associated with the type of event chosen.
Color-coded, hyperlinked event titles are displayed throughout the planner. Clicking on any of these links will take you to the event’s supplemental information detail page, which displays all the recorded information about that particular event.
Adding a New Event
Authorized users can add events to the Management Planner. Options to create multiple sub-level events or to create a single event are available.

With each new event, users have the opportunity to input data relative to that event. This can include multiple points of contact, event start and end dates, a description of the event, and many other standard items of importance. When complete, users can verify all the content by viewing a printer-ready form containing all the new data. As mentioned previously, sub-events can be added through the original Add Event dialogue window.
When an event is added, the main timeline display will automatically update showing the new event. From here access is available to each new event by clicking the respective timeline bar item.

Administrative Functions
Users with administrative access can change settings within the Management Planner. A list of customizable options can be found under the Admin button located on the main menu. This includes Captions, Appearance, Point of Contact Types, Message Board Settings, and User Accounts.
Once an Administrative feature has been selected, the user is given a list of customizable items. Here, the user is able to modify items to better suit the event community. Clicking the Save button applies all changes.

Reports
Reports are available for each event listed with the planner. Options are available to view a Full Event Report or a Report by Date/Type. The Full Event report will give a printable view of all events in order, starting from the earliest date. A Report by Day/Type displays events between the selected start and end dates.

The MSG Board button, located in the menu bar, will open the Management Planner Message Board where all users can post, read and reply to messages pertaining to events affecting the specific work community.
