SRCA’s Virtual Intelligence Projection Equipment Reserve (VIPER) inventory management solution has been utilized by the Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM).

The program is designed to distribute intelligence equipment, used within the Intelligence community, throughout the world. This online catalog is actually a lending closet. This inventory tracking system manages borrowed items; ensuring necessary materials are available to fulfill orders, making supply and demand manageable.

An individual’s request is automatically forwarded to the potential lender of the goods (for approval) and the item is then sent from one of several world-wide warehouses. Because the item is essentially borrowed, the time limit of the lending period is electronically tracked and an automated coordination is made to ensure on-time return.

The web-based inventory management application supports a virtual warehouse for the acquisition, inventory status, storage, issue, and accountability.
