Our company provides a large variety of customized training programs for a diverse group of clients to include the Department of Defense (DoD), University of Southern California (USC), and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).

We have the ability to quickly develop training programs to fit your needs, solve critical situations, and satisfy customer delegated requirements. If you need computer based training tools or presentations, technical manuals or student binders, performance charts or evaluation tools, we can create them for you. Our main fields of expertise cover aviation safety, programming, and graphic design. With our military clients, Microsoft Power Point is the preferred medium for presentations, but we have developed highly interactive presentations in all types of software to include Adobe Flash, Adobe Authorware, as well as several desktop developing languages. This push towards more interactive and challenging software has really thrown our clients into the spotlight of their peers.

In all of our programs, we provide comprehensive training manuals that participants use for future reference, as well as on-hands practice if applicable to the area of training. Our programs include structured exercises, assessment tools and on the job assignments that bring the students closer to the field they need to understand.

Our start to finish training and development services include:

  • Automated training needs analysis.
  • Research and development of specialized training materials and equipment.
  • Custom/interactive program development.
  • Professional trainers/subject matter experts.
  • Post-training evaluation.

Civilian Arming Program

The Civilian Arming Program was developed by SRCA in support of the Medium Altitude Reconnaissance Surveillance Systems (MARSS) program deploying personnel towards Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), Iraq, and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), Afghanistan. CAP is a weapons qualification course for civilian contractors deploying overseas on the M4 rifle and M9 pistol. In addition to meeting Department of Defense (DoD) requirements, we discus and supply the following forms to attending personnel: Rules for the Use of Force (RUF)
  • Rules of Engagement (ROE)
  • Laws of Armed Conflict (LOAC)
  • Department of Defense (DD) 2760
  • Individual Acknowledgements
The instructors conducting the weapons qualification are security professionals that possess expertise and experience in Special Forces, federal and local law enforcement and the corporate environment. Our instructors provide classroom instruction on safety, weaponry, and handling of weaponry in a given situation; whether in the U.S. or on deployment. Completed weapons qualification packets are submitted to the respective Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for approval and a weapons card is issued to all approved personnel.
SRCA is able to provide the Civilian Arming Program at any location. Training is already provided in:
  • Martinsburg, WV
  • Winchester, VA
The Civilian Arming Program is not only a qualification training class but serves as a document submission and record keeping authority too. It also serves as a tracking mechanism for re-qualification notification and weapons card issuance. Since 2008, SRCA has trained and qualified over 600 deploying personnel and provides two classes every month additional classes by request.

Anti-Terrorism Course

The SRCA Anti-Terrorism Course is for Department of the Army (DA) civilians and contractors traveling overseas into hostile areas. This course is a valuable tool for understanding and recognizing the dangers prior to entering a hostile situation. The training includes material regarding:

  • Area of Operation Environment (Iraq and Afghanistan)
  • Theater Combat Recovery
  • Surviving Captivity
  • Understanding Captivity with Military Personnel (Code of Conduct)
  • Evasion Techniques
SRCA Instructors have completed FORSCOM training, have been on multiple tours in the combat zone, have studied the HQDA Personnel Recovery training methodology and meet all pre-deployment training requirements for units deployed under FORSCOM Southwest Asia Training Guidance. They will give your personnel the confidence and better understanding of the work place they are going to, teach them to see what the regular eye can’t see, and get out of any hostile situation safely.
