Safety Research Corporation of America (SRCA) provides assessments and analysis to organizations that require in-depth examination and assistance in developing programs and products that assist them in becoming more efficient and help develop and mature their safety and standardization programs. Such assistance can be based upon organizations that have had undesired mishap experience or those that simply wish to codify and develop procedures as a reference and standardized tool. SRCA has worked with the United States Army, Southern California Edison, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Sikorsky, and many more.

Development of Procedures

SRCA has developed highly specialized procedures to include measurement tools for industry such as flight departments and the Government who employs use of DoD Instruction 8210-1, (95-20/AFI 10-220 and NAVAIRINST 371-1F).

Flight Department Assessments

SRCA additionally provides organization assessments of flight operations that must be conducted in accordance with Part 91, 135, or DOD requirements such as Contractor Flight and Ground Operations (8210-1 and 8210-2) used in unique areas, and those self developed programs. Currently, SRCA is on contract to examine aviation elements used by the NOAA to ensure that they are in compliance with both civil (FAA and DOJ requirements).

SRCA has developed complete operational long-term plans for organizations that wish to integrate standardization, training, and safety into a unified homogeneous program Currently, SRCA has an active Fortune 161 company, Southern California Edison with whom SRCA has assisted in strengthening their already well-defined programs. 

Government Owned-Contractor Operated (GOCO)

SRCA currently monitors four Government Owned, Contractor Operated (GOCO) combat aviation organizations for safety, compliance and most especially, for trends. These activities involve, elements in Hagerstown, Maryland, North Carolina, two locations in Iraq, and many more.
