Safety Research Corporation of America (SRCA) was tasked to develop an interactive product whereupon the user can look at a major system and drill into its subsystem(s). A prime example of this is one accomplished for Omniflight involving the Eurocopter.  As you can see by the illustrations below one can evaluate the entire aircraft and actually increase the depth of detail simply by clicking further. Extensions of this project can include video support and links to online services adding to the utility value of such training.
