Virtually every major company or industry uses assessment tools to gauge their performance against certain known standards. Examples of these tools include the most common form of assessment, the checklist. Checklists are found in almost every industry to include safety, standardization, manufacturing processing, and within the Intelligence and Security Command.
Vision of the end-product
SRCA sees the assessment tool as being used in one of two ways.
Checklist assessment
The first way is questions categorized appropriately to the customer needs. Generally there are a maximum of 14 categories with each having (in theory) a limitless number of parts and sub parts. These questions (assumed to be approximately 600-800) will be derived from doctrinal, military and regulatory material provided by the customer.
Scenario based assessment
Scenario based assessment is an assessment based upon objectives, operations, actions, and procedural activities based upon a given situation. That is the evaluator will be able to draw from various scenarios.
